Professional Disclaimer
Important disclosures about the nature of LegalsOne's services and what they are not.
Effective Date: February 23, 2026
LegalsOne Is Not a Law Firm
LegalsOne LLC is a technology company, not a law firm. LegalsOne does not provide legal advice, legal representation, legal opinions, or any professional legal services. Nothing in the LegalsOne platform, on this website, or in any communications from LegalsOne employees, agents, or contractors constitutes legal advice.
The LegalsOne platform provides tools to assist law firms in managing their internal operations. These tools — including CRM, case management, document management, workflow automation, and reporting — are operational aids. They do not provide legal analysis, generate court filings on behalf of clients, or replace the professional judgment of licensed attorneys.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Accessing or using the LegalsOne platform, website, or any communications from LegalsOne does not create an attorney-client relationship between LegalsOne and any user, law firm, or third party. LegalsOne is a vendor relationship, not a professional services relationship with your clients.
Not Accounting or Financial Advice
The LegalsOne platform includes basic trust accounting tools (IOLTA tracking) and financial reporting features. These tools are operational aids for internal tracking purposes only. They are not accounting software certified for general accounting practice, and use of these features does not constitute accounting advice, tax advice, or any financial professional service. Law firms with complex trust accounting requirements should use dedicated certified accounting software and consult qualified accountants.
Firms Are Responsible for Their Own Compliance
Law firms using the LegalsOne platform remain solely and independently responsible for:
- Compliance with all applicable professional responsibility rules, including their state bar's Model Rules of Professional Conduct or equivalent;
- Safeguarding client confidential information and complying with attorney-client privilege obligations;
- Compliance with court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements;
- Compliance with applicable data protection laws as a data controller;
- Trust account management obligations under applicable bar rules;
- All applicable cybersecurity and technology competence obligations in their jurisdiction;
- Supervision of non-attorney staff using the platform.
LegalsOne provides tools that can support compliance efforts, but compliance decisions remain entirely with the law firm and its licensed attorneys.
Technology Does Not Replace Professional Judgment
Automated features, including workflow automation, deadline calculators, and document templates (if any), are productivity tools. They are not vetted legal products and do not account for the specific facts of any matter. No automated feature substitutes for a licensed attorney's review, analysis, or professional judgment. Firms are responsible for reviewing all automated outputs before use in client matters.
No Warranty of Legal Efficacy
LegalsOne makes no warranty that use of the platform or any feature within it will result in compliance with any law, rule, or regulation. Features described as supporting compliance are designed in good faith but have not been audited, certified, or approved by any bar association, regulatory body, or governmental authority.
