Electronic Communications Consent

Your Consent

By creating an account with LegalsOne or accessing the LegalsOne platform, you consent to receive all communications, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other information from LegalsOne LLC in electronic form. This consent is made pursuant to the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and applicable state laws.

For law firm account administrators, this consent covers both individual communications to you and notices sent on behalf of your firm's account.

Scope of Electronic Communications

The following types of communications may be delivered electronically:

• These Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and all other legal agreements
• Account creation confirmations and login credentials
• Subscription invoices, billing statements, and payment receipts
• Service notifications, including maintenance windows, SLA events, and security alerts
• Amendment notices for any LegalsOne policies or agreements
• Termination notices and post-termination export instructions
• Data breach notifications required under applicable law
• Regulatory notices required by applicable law

Delivery Methods

Electronic communications from LegalsOne are delivered via one or more of the following:

• Email — to the email address on file for your account
• In-platform notice — notifications within the LegalsOne dashboard or admin interface
• Website posting — for policy updates and amendments, by posting updated versions to this website with a revised effective date

You are responsible for maintaining a current, valid email address in your account settings and for monitoring your email and platform notifications. Communications are considered delivered when sent to your registered email address or posted to the platform, regardless of whether you actually receive or read them.

Technical Requirements

To receive and retain electronic communications from LegalsOne, you will need:

• A device capable of accessing the internet (computer, tablet, or smartphone)
• A current web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari — most recent two major versions recommended)
• A current, accessible email account
• Sufficient storage to save electronic records (locally, via print, or via cloud storage)

If these requirements change materially, LegalsOne will notify you and ask for updated consent where required.

Withdrawing Consent

You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive electronic communications at any time. However, withdrawing consent may render LegalsOne unable to provide certain services that require electronic delivery (such as invoices, security alerts, and policy notices). If you withdraw consent, LegalsOne may treat your withdrawal as a notice of termination, since electronic delivery is integral to platform operations.

Requesting Paper Copies

You may request a paper copy of any record we have provided to you electronically by contacting us at legal@legalsone.com. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for processing and mailing paper copies. We will fulfill such requests within 30 days.
