Beta Features Terms
Terms governing access to experimental and pre-release features within the LegalsOne platform.
Effective Date: February 23, 2026
What Is a Beta Feature
LegalsOne may make certain features, modules, or capabilities available for testing and evaluation before they are generally released ("Beta Features"). Beta Features may be labeled as "Beta," "Preview," "Early Access," "Experimental," or similar designations within the platform interface or release notes.
Beta Features are provided to gather feedback, identify issues, and validate product direction. They are not production-ready features and should not be treated as such.
Beta Access
Access to Beta Features may be extended to specific firms or users at LegalsOne's invitation or at the firm administrator's election through platform settings. LegalsOne reserves the right to grant, limit, or revoke Beta access at any time without advance notice and without liability.
As-Is Disclaimer
BETA FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. LEGALSONE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT BETA FEATURES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, COMPLETE, OR FREE OF BUGS.
You assume all risk associated with the use of Beta Features. LegalsOne's aggregate liability for any issues arising from Beta Features is limited to the greater of $100 or one month of subscription fees paid by your firm.
Law firms should exercise heightened caution when using Beta Features in connection with client matters. Do not rely on Beta Features for time-sensitive, deadline-critical, or client-critical workflows without independent verification.
No SLA Applies to Beta Features
LegalsOne's Service Level Agreement does not apply to Beta Features. Beta Features may be unavailable, degraded, or modified at any time without notice and without entitling any firm to SLA credits or remedies.
Changes and Discontinuation
LegalsOne may modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue any Beta Feature at any time. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Beta Features may not graduate to general availability, may be substantially changed before general release, or may be discontinued altogether. LegalsOne will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of discontinuation where feasible, but is not obligated to do so.
If a Beta Feature handles data, LegalsOne will provide a reasonable export window (minimum 30 days) prior to permanent discontinuation, unless the Beta Feature becomes part of the generally available platform.
Feedback License
By using Beta Features, you may provide feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or other input about those features ("Feedback"). You grant LegalsOne a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, incorporate, and build upon Feedback in any manner for any purpose without restriction, compensation, or attribution.
Feedback does not include Customer Data. This license applies only to feedback about the platform features themselves, not to any data uploaded to or processed within those features.
Confidentiality of Beta Features
Beta Features and any non-public information about them (preview functionality, unreleased interface designs, roadmap details) are confidential information of LegalsOne. You agree not to publicly disclose, demo, screenshot, or describe Beta Features to third parties without LegalsOne's prior written consent, unless LegalsOne provides written permission to do so.
